First off, I have been reading Hou Tian

Which as many of you may or may not know inspires me to draw ...

But work has been, well, busy.
And now with the holidays fast approaching ...

I just want to let you all know that I am working on p.12 of Diverging Paths.
It's another page of expository dialogue ...
Which are not my favorite to do,
sometimes I feel I should just post it unfinshed so I can move ON!!!

It's my fancomic right?

2. PAGE 11: DIVERGING PATHS I'm excited to get on with the story. I love getting lost in a good Zutara adventure.

3. TEACHERS' CONFERENCE: Remember I talked about this painting a looooong time ago? Well, I've been working on it. (again)

Also in the works, I've always wanted to illustrate scenes from my favorite classic Zutara Fan fics. This weekend I reread "SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN" by AJ RAYNE. [link] It's an early Zutara fic that I've loved since I first read it. Zuko and Katara greatly dislike each other at the beginning of this. This is a great fic if you love the journey from enemies to friends and beyond. I even had sketches drawn up, but when time permits ... I'll try to sneak fic illustrations in between DP pages.
And I'm currently obsessed with Sharkflip's ENSLAVED. [link] Soon I'll try to do finished illustration for that as well.

AND ... I'm getting close to 150,000 pageviews!

I have to thank everyone who's ever visited.

ZUTARA WEEK, It ain't over ...

I have 2 remaining prompts.

Rhythm: Is a multi-panel piece I hope to have posted in the next couple of days.

Lick: (which despite all the dirty things I could have done ... is PG rated.)

Is still just a pencil drawing. I saw a lick deviation which resembles my concept.
I may finish it anyway ... OR I may go in a different direction.

I'm bummed I haven't been able to respond to all your comments! (or ANY of them really)
I've been really busy and any free time I have I spend drawing!

I really want to finish the last 2 prompts!!!
Then I can see, fave and comment on everyone else's Zutara Week stuff,
and answer some of the comments I've received.

AND get back to Diverging Paths!!!
