Artist's Comments
About a year ago, while collecting reference and inspiration, I found a photograph of a classical sculpture. I drew this from that photograph. Then it sat in my pile of drawings ... then suddenly I had to finish it. Unfortunately, I lost the original reference picture in the computer FAILURE of last year.
 Does anyone recognize the pose? It was a classical sculpture, so the subjects were probably gods, or a god 'stealing' a girl.  [The original sculpture was naked.] ZUTARA: It's red (white) and blue ... just in time for the 4th of July. When we celebrate our independence from canon.  Zuko and Katara are from Avatar: The last Airbender. Putting them together is fandom magic.  I will credit the sculptor when I find out who it is ...  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. the pose does look familiar but i can't for the life of me remember the name of the piece or artist!!!
